States that he read Mr. Remington's article entitled "La Salle's Fort" in the Buffalo Express, but disputes inaccuracies originating with Mr. [Orsamus] Marshall, regarding the size of ravines on both sides of the Niagara River, and whether La Salle's bark was raised out of the water to avoid damage by ice.
